What were you struggling and needed help with? What was your desired outcome?
– “We are musicians, marketing for us is hard. And honestly, it feels a bit dirty. We needed help with pretty much everything, marketing plan, direction in terms of content, activation, and strategy. The whole shebang. Honestly, at first, we figured, what do we have to lose? Sarah is clearly bright and she will be fun to work with, and anything is better than what we had done before. Oh boy did we underestimate her abilities and wits and then some!”
What hesitations did you have about hiring me?
– “Honestly, the only hesitation, and it’s a healthy one before partnering with anyone. That was, will we get the results we hope to get. Now, that being said and feeling dumb as shit even writing it out, We got ‘em, oh yes we did.”
What changes have you noticed in your fan and industry perception, your overall numbers (streaming, sales, reach, engagement…), or any other quantifiable, emotional, or psychological changes within your band or yourself?
– “Sarah took us out of our comfort zone, she gave us structure, direction, and even help our tiny hands when we needed help. But she doesn’t shy away from being very direct when it’s required. What I’m trying to say is that she made us better as a band and as a group of people.
We within the group were held accountable, not being able to bullshit ourselves and justify a lack in performance due to anything other than our efforts.
Now only did Sarah create the entire marketing platform that we based our marketing from in terms of planning, schedules, and pitches. She built our website, did our marketing campaigns across all channels, created assets, edited videos, and wrote copy.
If someone were to ask if the success of our release together was because of Sarah, I’d say, yeah, pretty much. As in fuck yes, all the way! If I were to guess, I’d say she’s more than tripled the numbers that we ourselves would have been able to pull.”
What did you like best about my service and/or our collaboration?
– “I’ve never worked with someone who has cared so much like Sarah does.
Passion trumps everything, there isn’t a single thing that get worse with passion. Yes Sarah has all the technical savvy one would expect, but it goes deeper than that, I was bitching about a service that I thought should be for free. So Sarah said, “fuck it”, maybe it isn’t too hard to build it myself, and she fucking did! She goes above and beyond every single time.
To answer this properly, from a business standpoint, the thing that makes Sarah’s services so distinct and noteworthy are two things; She has the ability to do everything within a release and she’s smart as a whip.
On a personal level, I would say what makes Sarah so wonderful is again her personality. We have had many deep conversations about not only the business but about life. So there is a trust I have in Sarah that I haven’t had in a business partner before.”

– “Yes. And also Yes. So, you or anyone reading this, why are you still reading? Just hire Sarah now. It will make you, your project, your music fucking better.
